FPSG seek an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Web Applications skills, to join a dynamic team known for their 'best of breed' solutions. This established Scottish Software House have a track record of innovative and product excellence designing and building SAAS product focused on a MERN stack. Their award-winning success has allowed them to enhance and expand their development team.
Your responsibilities as a Full Stack Developer will include:
• Taking ownership of business challenges and finding technical solutions.
• Contributing to the design and architecture of solutions.
• Championing the development of scalable, efficient and effective applications.
• Coordinating with and reporting to the Head of Engineering.
• Mentoring and Supporting colleagues.
• Sharing best practice and collaborating with architects, designers and project managers.
• Owning innovation and exceed expectations.
To be successful in this role, you'll need career experience with:
• A track record of building web applications in the MERN stack.
• A proven ability to collaborate with design and project teams.
• Bring UI an UX ideas into interfaces.
• Ability to deliver seamless API integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Champion and deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Agile and Scrum and methodologies
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Code reviews and knowledge-sharing for efficiency & performance improvement.
• Track record in code commit to the Cloud, AWS, Azure
Hybrid working is circa 2 days a week working from home, 3 days office collaboration. It is therefore desirable that candidates are within an easy commutable distance of Edinburgh.
