Position Description:
As a Product Enablement Specialist who will focus on content development within the Product Enablement team at PAR Data Central, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality documentation that supports both internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, writing proficiency, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise content. You will be responsible for working within a collaborative team atmosphere to create documentation used to configure, implement and support Data Central (“DC”) features. You will need to understand the context of the current environments of our clients (e.g., how they work today) and how existing and new features of DC can positively impact their workflow in the future.
You will ensure new features meet the high standards included in the DC products and/or services to retain current users and build loyal fans. You will also be responsible for testing new features and functionality with every new release, ensuring the released functionality meets the use case requirements.
The ideal applicant will have a restaurant management background and an extensive working knowledge of Data Central. They will also understand relevant computer applications within the restaurant and hospitality industry. A successful candidate will have excellent documentation, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

What We’re Looking For:
Entrees (Requirements):
• 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the technology industry
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing Data Central
• Previous experience in the Hospitality industry in a management role preferred
• Track record of success in Professional Services
• A relentless problem solver who enjoys uncovering solutions
• A passion for continued education (growing both technical and interpersonal skills)
• Ability to self-train, to stay current with the technology and security in restaurant and retail industries
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities
• Comfortability in a dynamic, agile atmosphere of a technical organization with an expanding customer base

• Create comprehensive, clear, and user-friendly technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and troubleshooting resources.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and documentation repository, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and completeness of information.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops/webinars to educate users on product features, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement in documentation and user experience and collaborate with product teams to implement necessary changes.
• Work closely with the Implementation, Technical Account Services, Client Support, Knowledge Management, and Product teams to ensure alignment on product features and documentation needs.
