POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs x-ray functions for a Center and supports the activities of that Center by performing Medical Assistant and/or Business Associate duties and assisting other personnel as directed or requested by the Head Radiographer, Charge Nurse and/or Practice Manager.

EDUCATION:

Completion of formal radiologic technology coursework in a school approved by the Council on Education of the American Medical Association. Must have passed an examination within six (6) months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. New graduates will be considered.

EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in a clinic, medical office or off-site medical environment preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Current and valid license from the State of New Jersey X-Ray Technician Board of Examiners. ARRT Certification preferred. BCLS certification required. Ability to use critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations. Strong communication both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations.
