As a Consumer Goods Mover at Lowe's, your primary goal is to provide customers with exceptional service to ensure their satisfaction

What You Will Do:

Maintaining a clean and organized store by performing the necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks:
• Creating a positive customer experience through friendly and effective communication while addressing their queries.
• The process of collecting, stocking and restocking merchandise.
• Efficiently and Securely Handling Goods for Employees and Customers.

As a Consumer Goods Mover, it is necessary to assist customers in loading their purchases into their vehicles and restocking the shelves simultaneously. Given that this role requires constant lifting and moving of goods, safety is a top priority.

Travel Requirements:

While regular travel is not a requirement of this job, occasional travel may be necessary for attending meetings, receiving training, or providing support to nearby stores.

In our search for new team members, there are specific qualities and experiences that we are seeking:
• Full-time or part-time employment is determined by the number of hours an employee is required to work. Generally, full-time workers are scheduled for 39 to 40 hours per week, while part-time employees are typically scheduled for up to 25 hours per week. However, the store may require more hours based on its needs.
• The position demands availability throughout the day and evening, seven days a week.
• Power to carry out tasks that require prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or any additional physical demands necessary for job completion.
• The main criterion is the aptitude to hoist 25 pounds unaided, although lifting more than that is doable, with or without support.

Minimum Qualifications:
• For a 6-month period, I developed my computer usage skills, undertaking tasks such as entering, accessing, modifying, and extracting data.
• Successfully carried out duties utilizing common retail technology like smartphones and tablets for half a year.
• Sales-related jobs require fulfilling legal obligations through obtaining requisite licensure or registration.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 months of working in the retail industry.
• Someone with half a year of experience working in a home improvement or hardware store would make an ideal candidate for a Loader role.
• To be considered qualified, an individual must have gained work experience at a Lowe's retail store for at least a 6-month period.
• My retail merchandising experience spans for 6 months, during which I have honed my skills in Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
• An individual with a half-year of expertise in any field ensuring the assessment, transportation, loading and unloading of products or materials in and out of vehicles.
