Job Description
The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of all machines, mechanical equipment, and other structures within the plant to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Repair and Maintenance Operations: Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations on equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Preventative and Corrective Maintenance: Monitor, plan, and execute all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Equipment Rebuilding and Mold Changes: Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and conduct unsupervised mold changes on all machines to maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Adjust and troubleshoot Production Equipment as needed and provide support on the Production floor as required to ensure seamless operations.
• General Maintenance and Safety: Examine objects, systems, or facilities, analyze information, and carry out needed installations, services, or repairs; maintain a safe and clean work environment and compliance with established Occupational Safety & Health rules, policies, and procedures.
