A boutique Business Management firm is seeking an Account Manager to join their team!
Job Overview:
The Account Manager is responsible for the financial management for high-profile clients in the entertainment industry, including actors, musicians, producers, directors, and other industry professionals. This role requires a thorough understanding of the entertainment industry and its unique financial demands. The Account Manager will work closely with clients and their representatives to ensure proper management of income, expenses, investments, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Account Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial and business-related inquiries for assigned clients.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow management, and general ledger oversight.
• Review and approve financial documents, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Analyze clients’ financial positions, providing insights and recommendations for cost-saving measures, tax strategies, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor budgets and financial forecasts to help clients maintain healthy cash flow and meet financial goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business management, accounting, or financial advisory, with a focus on entertainment clients preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the entertainment industry, including royalty structures, endorsement deals, and intellectual property rights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with high-profile clients and their representatives.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential client information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
