The Human Services team Junior Consultant (Business Analyst) will work on a range of projects on PCG’s Child and Family Services Business Line. Duties will include supporting projects with quantitative and qualitative analysis, research, writing a range of documents (e.g., client reports, PowerPoint presentations, project plans, policies and procedures, and client proposals), and communicating with a wide range of audiences, both clients and internal to PCG. The Junior Consultant will work in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment, and will need to be able to work effectively both in teams and independently. The Junior Consultant will be required to pay close attention to detail in his/her daily work while maintaining adherence to internal and external deadlines.
While the Junior Consultant will focus primarily on child and family services projects, he/she, over time, will also gain experience across a range of human services projects (e.g., aging and disability, behavioral health, child care, and early education/intervention) while developing sophisticated consulting skills and abilities designed to position him/her for broader and deeper roles. The ideal candidate excels in the collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data and has proven his or her ability to manage competing priorities and multiple work streams. The Junior Consultant should have a passion for doing high-quality work, continuously learning and improving, effectively communicating both verbally and in writing, analyzing data, and contributing to reports that regularly exceed clients' expectations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists PCG Human Services team members and staff in completing various tasks and projects primarily related to PCG’s Child and Family Services initiatives
• Collects and enters project related data.
• Conducts data analysis using Excel, PowerBI and/or other data analysis tools.
• Researches complex topics using a range of sources related to current human services policies and practices
• Provides administrative support for various projects
• Analyzes and interprets federal and state laws and regulations
• Understands program requirements for federal and state programs
• Participates in both internal and client discussions
• Participates on proposal writing teams, including writing and coordinating submissions.
• Assists with preparation of other written reports, major deliverables, and other materials for clients.
• Other responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s or other graduate degree preferred, preferably with majors or concentrations in public administration, political science, social work, or another relevant field of study.
• Experience:1-3 years of relevant work experience in relevant work experience with government and/or nonprofit agency, specifically doing work in the Human Services field.

• Remote Work with travel depending on client needs; travel to client sites (approximately 25%) required. Ability to work additional hours as needed.
