Content Marketing and Strategy Assistant (Remote)

S1 Project

The S1 Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New Hampshire, is seeking a remote content marketing and strategy assistant who understands and can communicate our brand and values to the general public. The assistant will oversee a variety of content types such as blogposts and articles, videos, infographics, social media, and possible production of our podcast, What in God’s Name. In addition, the assistant will generate a strategy to expand S1’s communications and online footprint to a greater audience that includes scholars, K-12 educators, other non-profit organizations, think tanks and members of the general public.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:
• Content creation and marketing experience with Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Design software such as Adobe Creative Suites, Canva, etc.
• Photography and videography, as well as related photo and video editing.
• Designing, coding, and managing websites.
• Working as a member of a team.

Preferred Skills
• Being conversant in the frameworks used by the S1 Project which include: moral and political philosophy, Christian theology, the study of religion, humanism, and deliberative dialogue.
• Hindenburg or other podcast editing software.

Other Details
• The intern can expect to work for approximately five hours per week at a rate of $25/hour. An opportunity for more hours and increased pay exists after an initial probationary period.
