Role: Java Developer
Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite/Hybrid)

Position Description
The candidate should have at least 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision.
Skills Required
• Strong understanding of Java technology (Core Java, J2EE)
• Knowledge of open-source frameworks: Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate.
• RDBMS (Well versed with SQL, Stored Procs etc.)
• JSON, XML Schemas
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
• Candidate will be required to work geographically dispersed teams
Good To Have Skills
• REST APIs, Microservices
• Knowledge of MongoDB
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)
• Any of Autosys, Cron Job, Airflow concepts
• Messaging technologies – Kafka or MA
