We are seeking a skilled Fraud Strategies Testing Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive fraud risk testing processes to the next level. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the performance and accuracy of automated fraud detection systems and business decision rules.
Key Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of automated business decision rules and decision logic.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with business rules management systems (BRMS), such as Drools.
• Highly proficient in SQL for data validation and queries related to rule testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of defects.
• Ability to interpret complex business logic and translate it into effective test cases.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies, particularly in relation to continuous testing and integration.
• 2+ years programming knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, SCALA, and ANVIL.
Requirements:
• Willingness to help design new functions rather than taking over existing ones.
• Ability to create reusable components and perform limited manual reconciliation testing.
• Experience in comparing data sources to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Document test cases, procedures, and methodologies for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure decision rules are working correctly under various scenarios and edge cases.
• Validate that rules adhere to business requirements and comply with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Set up monitoring controls to ensure the ongoing functional performance of the business rules.
• Ensure that test plans align with business goals and key decision outcomes.
• Identify, document, and track defects related to decision rules, including logic flaws, edge cases, or other points of failure.
• Work closely with engineering and strategies team to address defects.
• Retest fixed defects to verify resolution and prevent regression issues.
• Where applicable, create automated test scripts for recurring testing needs, leveraging testing tools and frameworks.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for optimization and improvement.
Soft Skills:
• Self-directed and proactive in taking charge and pushing forward initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to teach and share knowledge with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
