Whitespace Architects is seeking a junior design architect to join its team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Key functions and responsibilities:
• assist in developing a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project
• responsible for the standard and accuracy of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.
• receive and manage the QAQC comments
• ensure the satisfactory management and control of inward and outward documentation
• design research and coordination
• assist in ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets
• the candidate should have strong design sensibilities, technical skills, a flexible mentality and experience in all stages of a project
• work on a specific part of the project that allows to explore the design and discuss any findings with the team
• be able to understand tasks from team leaders and respect team decision
Qualifications, skills and experience:
• education: master’s degree or equivalent in architecture
• fluent in English (presenting, speaking, reading, writing)
• experience: at least three years of experience
• experience as an architect or as an architectural intern within a dynamic, international environment
Technical skills:
• AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop), MS Office Revit SketchUp, AI, experience with Revit software is a plus
• good technical understanding and detailing skills
