Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced RDK-B Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining broadband gateway software solutions. This role involves working on embedded systems, networking protocols, and ensuring seamless integration with RDK-B.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance RDK-B components, focusing on broadband gateways.
• Write, modify, and debug embedded software solutions.
• Work with open-source RDK components and contribute to community efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and feature development.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot issues related to networking, connectivity, and embedded systems.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems software development.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with RDK-B (Reference Design Kit for Broadband) architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and development tools (GCC, GDB, etc.).
• Experience with DOCSIS, TR-069, or other broadband technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi management and diagnostics.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins).
• Experience with Comcast's broadband solutions is a plus.
