About the Role: We are seeking a motivated System Hardware Engineer Designer to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate (or soon to be graduate) in Electrical Engineering with a strong foundation in analog design and a passion for hands-on lab work. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, from circuit design to system-level testing and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will work closely with our AI chip team and gain exposure to the entire AI/ML software stack.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, testing, and validation of hardware components for system-level projects.
• Conduct hands-on lab work using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
• Participate in board design tasks, including schematic capture and layout.
• Contribute to the development and execution of hardware tests and troubleshooting at the board level.
• Work closely with the AI chip team, providing support and gaining exposure to AI/ML hardware and software systems.
• Document design processes and provide clear technical reports.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Coursework in analog design.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
• Strong desire to work in a lab setting and contribute to hardware development.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Experience with Cadence Allegro and schematic capture tools.
• Understanding of SERDES protocols like PCIe and Ethernet.
• Knowledge of signal integrity (SI) and electromagnetic (EM) principles.
• Familiarity with PCB design and power delivery systems.
• Previous experience in board-level design and layout.

Annual Salary Range and Level
The base salary for this position ranges from $130,000/year up to $145,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
