Market Analyst II

ATPCO

Responsibilities:
• As a member of the Products and Solutions team, the Market Analyst II is responsible to identify products and services that reduce the distribution costs and protect/increase airline revenues through marketing activities which include market research, analysis, marketing artifacts, competitor scans, market intelligence, product launch/adoption and monitoring marketing trends.
• This position is responsible to participate in the development, planning and execution of the overall product marketing strategy including the product portfolio and go-to-market strategies.
• The Analyst must have a fundamental understanding of the travel industry and how the ATPCO products are utilized. This position requires a working knowledge of the ATPCO product portfolio and a high-level understanding of ATPCO’s Life Cycle of the Fare. In addition, this individual will be responsible to cultivate their personal knowledge of the travel industry through active reading, discussions with industry contacts, and participation at trade events and conferences.
• This position will assist in identifying areas for growth and create strategic product line roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features.

Market Strategy
• Assist in the development, design, and distribution of industry surveys
• Conduct market research and define market segments
• Assist in the creation of market plans, business cases, go-to-market strategies, and product launches
• Obtain and properly utilize a variety of internal, external and industry data needed for marketing efforts and improving ATPCO's products and services
• Create current-state analyses and identify the requirements of both internal and external customers

Market Management
• Produce timely analyses including product related and other reports
• Supply management with financial analysis and forecasts for use in the Product Development Life Cycle related to product strategy and marketing functions
• Develop ad hoc analysis in support of new development efforts
• Cultivate awareness and knowledge of business intelligence and best practices to continually improve ATPCO's products and services

Communication
• Have excellent writing, speaking and listening skills
• Provide professional communication in person, on the phone and in email
• Demonstrate consistent professional and effective interpersonal skills with team, peers and management, across divisions
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues alike; whether from the business or technical team

• Design, organize, and prepare effective presentation materials for industry meetings
• Ability to give a professional presentation at industry meetings

• Effectively communicate on a project's status through the use of reports, written documents, and oral presentations

• Effectively manage assigned tasks, deadlines and deliverables
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver timely and effective results
• Identify the needed resources/tools and processes necessary to complete assignments

• Serve as a resource on subject matter for both internal and external customers
• Assume a leadership role in the team

Asset Building
• Work collaboratively with management to identify or generate new business opportunities
• Assist the management in growing the awareness of ATPCO in the marketplace
• Build on one's own career through education and training, and working with management on an Individual Development Plan
• Build and leverage the company's extensive travel industry contacts to network and help drive PSD/ATPCO
• Establish, build and manage key partner relationships, including assessing needs and developing and delivering proposals and presentations

ATPCO Products
• Expert knowledge of ATPCO products is preferred
• Experience with Airline Revenue Accounting, Pricing, Inventory Management or Revenue Management and/or ATPCO products

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing; Master's degree preferred

Work Experience:
• Four or more years of experience in a marketing or marketing related position; prior work experience in the travel industry with an airline, GDS, or related segment preferred; or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing and 2+ years experience in a marketing or marketing related position
• Experience working in culturally diverse, creative, team oriented and collaborative environments
• Effective project and time management skills; and the ability to work under pressure
• Experience as a project or team lead

Specialized skills:
• Advanced oral, written, and other presentations skills
• Effective
