The Vice President for Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer serves as the principal financial advisor to the President and senior leadership team, providing strategic guidance, oversight, and management of St. John’s University’s financial operations. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President for Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer plays a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability, integrity, and transparency of the University while supporting its mission and strategic objectives. The Vice President for Business Affairs, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer will oversee the Business Affairs department, which includes the budget and planning, investment, and controller’s offices. The successful candidate will also foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration and provide strategic leadership and direction

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation available for the role considers a variety of factors, including but not limited to, work location, individual skill set, previous/applicable experience, and other business needs. The estimated salary range for individuals who work in New York is $450,000–$500,000. The above salary range represents St. John’s University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base salary range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards the University provides to employees.
