Job Description: Co-Founder & Full-Stack Web Developer
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Web Developer to join our startup as a Co-Founder. Our company aims to revolutionize the mental health industry by creating a web-based platform that matches individuals seeking mental health services with the best-suited providers. As a pivotal member of our founding team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our platform from concept to launch, ensuring it meets the needs of our users while adhering to the highest standards of quality and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Development: Lead the end-to-end development of our web-based platform, including both front-end and back-end development.
• Technical Leadership: Make architectural decisions, set coding standards, and establish best practices for scalable and sustainable development.
• Innovation: Continuously seek to innovate and improve our platform, integrating new technologies and approaches to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, ensuring the platform is secure, reliable, and capable of handling user data sensitively and confidentially.
• Team Building: As the company grows, recruit and manage a technical team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Strategic Planning: Work closely with co-founders to align technical objectives with business goals, contributing to overall strategy, product design, and feature prioritization.
Deliverables:
• MVP Development: Deliver a fully functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within the agreed timeline, incorporating essential features and feedback from early users.
• Platform Scalability: Ensure the platform architecture is designed for scalability, handling growth in users and data without compromising performance.
• User Feedback Integration: Implement a process for collecting and integrating user feedback into continuous platform improvement.
• Security and Compliance: Achieve and maintain compliance with relevant data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), ensuring user data is securely managed and protected.
• Technical Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technical roadmap that outlines future development phases, feature additions, and technology integrations.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in full-stack web development, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in key programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python), frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Django), and database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and development tools.
• Leadership: Experience leading technical teams or projects, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards achieving shared goals.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Strong commitment to the startup journey, with the resilience, flexibility, and drive to build a company from the ground up.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically about technology's role in business success, with a keen eye for opportunities to innovate and differentiate.
