Job Description: ****PLEASE READ IN DETAIL****

MAX BILL RATE $105 hr

Remote 100%

Mon -Fri 8am-5pm. Must be able to work EST standard hours. Could be occasional after-hours/weekend support. Will be coordinated as-needed.

This is EST Hours please ensure candidates submitted understand and can work this time zone. We do not require the candidate(s) to reside in the Eastern Time Zone, but they will be required to work in the EST. We prefer people to start between 7 & 9 AM (finishing between 4 & 6 PM).

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:

Candidates should be self-motivated, team-oriented, work under limited supervision, and respond to priority tasks. Candidates must be able to independently research and design processes, create specifications, develop, lead testing, perform code reviews, actively engage with the team and stakeholders, attend meetings, provide guidance, and respond promptly.

Team / Project Lead Experience Preferred.

This position will support the agency s Electronic Disease Surveillance System, currently the Conduent Maven SCION system. This will include system configuration, query and workflow optimization, data integration, data warehousing and reporting, software upgrades, system validation and testing, researching and troubleshooting issues, code reviews and check-ins, and environment synchronization. This position may also help support Lab systems, integration development, and CDC Data Modernization Efforts.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will work closely with other members of the Systems Integration (SI) team, the software vendor Conduent, and various programs within the Public Health agency. They will coordinate with the SI Section Manager and Team on daily assignments / tasks. The candidate should be self-motivated, team-oriented, work under limited supervision, and respond to priority tasks.
