We are looking for a FT 1st shift Junior Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for grounds work and upkeep, and assisting maintenance technicians with routine tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Support and adhere to the NPI Code of Ethics, work rules, policies, plans and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for the residents, visitors and employees of New Paths.
• Perform grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, snow removal, parking lot and sidewalk cleanliness, trimming and edging.
• Assist in routine maintenance including but not limited to: drywall, painting, building fixtures, mechanical and electrical equipment, preventive maintenance, under direction of Maintenance Supervisor/Technician.
• Will work independently on many projects.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance work area.
Qualifications:
• Experience in lawn care.
• Experience in a maintenance department.
• Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance department/lawn service.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking.
• Must be able to climb, bend, crawl, use hands/fingers for fine motor skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
