Medical Billing and Coding Specialist's needed!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement.
Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing codes and procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.
Responsibilities :
• Reviewing patient information and medical records to accurately code diagnoses and procedures
• Preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies
• Verifying insurance eligibility and coverage for patients
• Following up on unpaid claims and denials, and appealing when necessary
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in medical billing codes and regulations
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements :
• Miminimum of two years' medical billing and coding;
• computer literacy;
• and effective interpersonal skills.
