Family in Coconut Grove is seeking an estate manager to oversee their two properties (Both located in Coconut Grove). One property is their primary residence while the other is a secondary residence under construction. This is a fully staffed home with housekeeping staff, a chef and personal driver. The household consists of a couple and their two teenage children.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with flexibility
Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of estate management as well as project management for the properties.
Duties include:
• Project management – construction and remodeling
• Developing preventative maintenance programs
• Coordination and oversight of multiple groups – vendors, security, housekeeping, etc
• Vendor negotiation, sourcing and management
• Manage Staff for Vessels
• Management of Automobile Portfolio
• Approval of invoices and liaise with accounting team
• Art installation delivery and removal/storage
• Manage Household Staff – HR, Scheduling, Staff Housing, Days Off, Work Hours, Overtime, Timesheets, Main Point of Contact, Hiring and Training, Annual performance reviews
Candidate Requirements
• Strong background in Construction (preferable High-End Residential)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a private home
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Adept in managing and supervising household staff
• Prioritize executive tasks and multi-task effectively
• Professional mindset and the utmost discretion
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Flexibility with hours and scheduling
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid US work authorization
• Miami (or nearby resident) – will work primarily in Miami
Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $120k+ per year Based on experience. 2 weeks PTO, 1 week sick pay, Health Insurance, 401k.
