M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with some flexibility

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Finance is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of all accounting functions and IT functions, provides supervision of staff, and assists the Chief Financial Officer in other related areas.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Provides direct supervision to Accounts Receivable, Billing & Statistics, and Payroll.
• Coodinates work schedules to ensure efficient use of available resources.
• Monitors and/or performs checks and balances and other internal controls.
• Oversees external audits, ensuring work papers are provided to auditors in collaboration with internal audit function.
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of recording information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Provides information for use in preparation of regular and special financing reporting to funding sources.
• Works in collaboration with Billings and Statistics Supervisor to maximize billing.
• Works collaboratively with staff members on accomplishment of Strategic Objectives and activities.
• Performs duties according to Pioneer Center policies, rules and regulations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Pioneer Center's Code of Ethics.
• Follows HR policies and completes HR paperwork. Contacts HR with questions concerning either.
• Facilitates delivery of services and maintains consistency and quality of operations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Accounting or Finance

Experience: 5 plus years of experience in non-profit organization preferred

2 plus years of experience in supervisory role

Computer Skills: Intact, ACCPAC, Microsoft Office, F9, Crystal Reports, ADP GL Interface,

Certifications &

Licenses: CPA preferred.
