We are an AI-based healthcare technology startup. Our mission is to leverage artificial intelligence to solve pressing challenges in healthcare, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, enhancing clinical workflows, and streamlining pathology operations. We are at the beginning of an exciting journey and are looking for a visionary Product Manager to join us in building our product ecosystem from the ground up.

Role Overview

The Founding Product Manager will be the driving force behind our product strategy and execution, laying the foundation for both our product management department and broader business functions such as marketing, business development, and customer acquisition. This leadership role requires a versatile and proactive approach, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on development. You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, building cross-functional teams, and driving go-to-market initiatives to launch AI-powered healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Product Strategy & Vision
• Develop and own the comprehensive product strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall mission and business objectives
• Conduct extensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities in AI healthcare solutions, particularly in pathology
• Build and manage a product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives that maximize value for our target markets.
• AI Integration & Innovation
• Collaborate closely with AI and data science teams to integrate advanced AI/ML models into healthcare products, with a focus on diagnostics and pathology workflows
• Ensure products are built with scalability, clinical relevance, and regulatory compliance in mind, making them adaptable to varying healthcare systems.
• Marketing & Go-to-Market Leadership
• Lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, messaging, and branding across diverse healthcare markets
• Work alongside marketing teams to design effective campaigns for product launches, ensuring strong market penetration and adoption
• Create detailed product collateral, value propositions, and sales enablement tools to support marketing and sales teams
• Business Development & Growth
• Spearhead business development efforts by identifying strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with healthcare institutions, clinics, and industry leaders
• Lead efforts to establish distribution channels, pricing models, and customer acquisition strategies that are scalable across different markets
• Foster relationships with early adopters and key stakeholders to gather product feedback and iteratively improve offerings
• Team Building & Department Setup
• As a founding member, you will establish the product management department, hiring and mentoring team members to ensure growth and efficiency
• Build cross-functional teams, working closely with engineering, design, AI, and business operations to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and execution
• Drive a culture of ownership, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making within the product team
• Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team, customers, and strategic partners
• Present key product metrics and insights to drive informed decision-making and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
• Regulatory & Compliance Management
• Ensure all product solutions meet healthcare regulatory standards such as HIPAA (for the US market) and local compliance requirements in Pakistan
• Stay up to date on the evolving healthcare regulatory landscape to ensure ongoing compliance and competitive advantage.

Key Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record in healthcare technology and AI-driven solutions
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and pathology workflows, with a focus on US healthcare markets
• Experience leading go-to-market efforts, marketing campaigns, and business development initiatives for technology products
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, with a passion for mentoring and growing talent
• Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies, software development processes, and familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience launching AI products within healthcare, such as diagnostic tools, medical imaging, or clinical decision support systems
• Familiarity with regulatory environments, including HIPAA and local healthcare compliance in Pakistan
• MBA or Master’s in a related field (Healthcare, Technology, Business).
