Project: migrating off of on premise databases over to the cloud. With that comes migrating legacy models which are dependent on SAS. Migrating over to Python and SnowSQL. Snowflake is cloud data warehouse. This person will assist data science team with that migration.
NEED:
Python- object oriented programming
SQL - Snowflake is a huge bonus.
Pandas required
Must be able to Unit Test
DevOps deployment side Kubernetes, Docker, etc is a bonus. If this person has experience, that would be awesome.
SAS is outdated and would be considered a plus- ideal if they can read SAS and convert it over to Python. Current SAS code is influenced by macros.
Cloud experience - some AWS experience is fine but they're not doing lambdas, EC2s etc. AWS solutioning is outside. Another team handles AWS infrastructure. They'll need to develop inside of SageMaker studio. Ideally this resource is familiar with SageMaker but they can train them up.
Agile - Handling stories bi-weekly, close them out.
