The Department of Mathematics is a dynamic and collaborative community comprised of 33 full-time faculty specializing in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and math education. We are seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join our statistics group and contribute to its growth and success. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and service. We welcome applicants from all areas of statistics, with a preference for candidates whose research interests align with existing faculty, particularly in causal inference, high-dimensional statistics, semiparametric/nonparametric methods, change-point problems, signal processing, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning.
