About the role
As the Founding Developer Relations Lead at Retell AI, you will build and nurture the developer community around Retell AI’s platform. You'll engage, educate, and inspire developers, acting as a bridge between the community and our internal teams. You'll work closely with the founders to drive product adoption, collect feedback, and create content that resonates with developers across various channels.
Candidate requirements
• 2+ years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a technical role involving engagement with developer communities.
• Technical fluency: Ability to dig deep into platform features and translate them into engaging, easy-to-understand content for developers.
• Startup experience: Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and figuring out solutions to complex problems.
• Strong communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable content.
• Hands-on experience creating technical content (e.g., blog posts, videos, tutorials) and engaging with developer communities.
• Data-driven: Able to use data and insights to inform decisions and measure the success of community engagement initiatives.
• Experience with community management: You enjoy talking to people in Discord, Twitter, and other forums, fostering developer engagement.
• Curious mindset with a passion for new technologies and a strong desire to understand customer needs.
