💡 Job Description:
Griffin Resources, in partnership with Modernize, is looking for a highly skilled SDET to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions. You will be responsible for creating automation scripts, utilities, API testing solutions, and other essential tools to ensure our applications are robust and reliable. 🚧
In this role, you’ll collaborate with product owners and developers to deliver high-quality software through functional, regression, and performance testing automation. Your work will directly impact the success of various high-visibility projects! 🛠️
📝 Key Responsibilities:
• 🎯 Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools.
• 🤝 Collaborate with product owners and development teams to gather requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• 🔍 Conduct code reviews for test scripts to ensure code quality.
• 🚀 Implement performance and load testing to ensure application scalability.
• 🐛 Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• ⚙️ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback on code quality.
• 📄 Maintain clear documentation of testing processes, test cases, and results.
• 🧑🤝🧑 Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team success.
🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 📅 6+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or software development, with a focus on automation.
• 💻 Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
• 🛠️ Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, RestAssured, TestNG, or Cucumber.
• 🧑💻 Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• 👨🏫 Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
• 🗣️ Strong communication skills, able to convey technical information effectively.
🌟 Desired Skills:
• 🌐 Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• 🏗️ CMS experience is a plus.
• 📊 Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• 👥 Experience supporting client stakeholders with varying levels of Agile experience.
🎓 Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Required).
📈 Program Overview:
This position supports a complex development and O&M contract with CMS, where coordination with multiple critical systems is key. You’ll regularly interface with CMS and other contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and project success. 🤝
