Job Overview
Professional, live-in, full-time, housekeeper/ mother's helper needed on Long Island for a family of five. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM with some flexibility. Must be excellent at cleaning and enjoy working with children. The job is ideal for someone who takes direction well, and can work cooperatively and flexibly alongside other adults and children. Candidate must be fluent in English, have their own transportation and be legal to work in the US. Must be able to provide at least two strong references and have a track record of successful, long term commitments. A separate residence on the property with kitchen, bathroom and living room will be provided. The residence is 40 minutes outside of NYC by train. The family is willing to offer two weeks of paid vacation as well as paid holidays off. The ideal candidate is willing to travel occasionally with the family.
Responsibilities
- Perform both day-to-day housekeeping and deep cleaning (including laundry, cleaning floors, dusting, ect.)
- Maintaining organization in the home including closets, pantry, children's play areas, ect.
- Caring for up to 2 children at a time.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a housekeeper and/ or nanny.
- Must pass background checks as required by family policies.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
