About this Role:

The role of the Application Processing Manager I under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, plans, directs, and organizes the day-to-day operations of the Application Unit. The unit provides program support related to the processing and reviewing of provider applications for participation in the Medi-Cal program. The Application Processing Manager I has direct supervision over a team of professional staff and may represent the Section at internal and external meetings. The incumbent must be able to effectively supervise and develop a team of analytical staff, manage multiple priorities, and must possess strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

This position is subject to the Department’s Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) when assuming this position, annually by April 1, and when leaving this position.
