POSITION OVERVIEW SQL DEVELOPER Our growing team needs an experienced SQL Developer. To be considered for this position, you must complete a full application on our company careers page, including screening questions and a brief pre-employment test. - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The primary function of the Lead Developer is to provide project guidance and accountability to a team of developers, produce complex and straightforward code for new and existing applications. In addition, you will prioritize, plan, and execute assigned project deliverables and tasks according to deadlines and budgets set by the project leader. Facilitate regular communication on project status and timelines Provide one-on-one feedback to developers on individual performance and progress Confer with systems, engineers, developers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints Analyze requirements to determine and plan system specifications and layouts Analyze problem definition, requirements, and map to the system workflow Design, develop and implement complex software solutions that align with the business, development, deployment, and maintenance needs using MS SQL Preparation of solution design document including detailed business process flows and key control points Determine system performance standards Perform software review and analyze code metrics Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation Communicate progress and updates effectively with project stakeholders and internal teams Grow and maintain knowledge of IT industry technologies and trends CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates should be positive, driven, and confident individuals that will represent the company and its customers professionally at all times. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or, an equivalent in relevant work experience 5 years of working experience with design, programming, and implementation of complex software and IT projects and management of technical resources 3 years experience in a technology lead/supervisory role Experience using SQL Server or similar databases Working knowledge of web servers and configuration, as well as datastore concepts and relational database design Demonstrated ability to complete complex development tasks with high levels of quality and within pre-determined timelines Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize and manage competing demands Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and understand and communicate complex and diverse information Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various situations exercising flexibility and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment COMPENSATION DETAILS WANT AN EMPLOYER THAT VALUES YOUR CONTRIBUTION?
