• Background in technology and/or software industries .
• 4 - 6 years of experience of dedicated litigation experience in a law firm setting, including experience with copyright and patent infringement claims, intellectual property matters, and federal securities claims.
• Experience with litigation in international jurisdictions.
• Desire to work on a variety of projects/cases

What You'll Do

We are hiring a Legal Counsel to join Sprinklr’s Legal team, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Employment & Litigation. The Legal Counsel will have primary daily responsibility for supporting all aspects of Sprinklr’s global litigation matters, including investigating and supporting in the response to threatened disputes of all kinds, managing outside counsel in active litigation matters, and responding to subpoenas.

The Legal Counsel will have a cross-functional role with exposure to a variety of subject matters, including commercial disputes, federal securities actions, intellectual property matters, copyright and patent infringement claims, employment matters, data privacy issues, risk management, and payment and collections disputes.

The Legal Counsel will work cross-functionally within the Legal team and across the business to develop a deep knowledge of Sprinklr and our platform and services, and provide practical and strategic advice and guidance to Sprinklr management on a wide variety of legal issues that arise in the course of business at a growing public company.

This position requires a team-focused mindset and a passion for formulating and executing long term strategies while managing details. It also requires strong communication skills, the ability to issue-spot and analyze legal issues, present positive, creative solutions, and advise management of risks to help the business achieve its goals. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to join a growing function with exposure to a broad and varied set of subject matters.

Responsibilities
• Support all aspects of Sprinklr’s litigation matters on a day-to-day basis, with a focus on commercial disputes, intellectual property issues, copyright infringement and patent issues, and securities actions
• Develop strong relationships with other members of the Sprinklr Legal team and business stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor to internal clients
• Provide practical and effective advice to Sprinklr management about all aspects of the company's litigation and disputes, as well as settlement and litigation avoidance
• Effectively and strategically manage outside counsel to achieve Sprinklr’s goals in active litigation
• Investigate and respond to threatened claims, serving as a passionate and effective advocate for the Company’s position
• Handle a high volume of legal work, balancing competing priorities and deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed about important developments
• Manage responses to third-party subpoenas
• Issue litigation holds and manage discovery as needed
• Support cross-functional department requests and transactions
• Support in the growth and scaling of the Legal department

Requirements
• J.D. from an ABA-Accredited U.S. law school, and membership in good standing to at least one state bar
• 4 - 6 years of experience of dedicated litigation experience in a law firm setting, including experience with copyright and patent infringement claims, intellectual property matters, and federal securities claims.
• Experience with all aspects of the discovery process and third-party subpoena management
• Strong written and oral communication skills to a variety of audiences, including the ability to clearly and concisely explain legal concepts to a business audience
• Strong business and legal acumen with the ability to: quickly identify legal and business issues; assess and appropriately contextualize risks; and devise creative and practical solutions to various internal and external audiences in a dynamic and fast-paced global environment.
• Ability to work with independence, manage competing priorities effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Passion for collaborating with and the ability to inspire trust and confidence with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels in a diverse and inclusive environment.
