Summary

The Taproom Ambassador supports Tall City Brewing Co. operations, mission and vision under the guidance of the Taproom Manager. You as a brand ambassador interacts directly with customers and assists the Taproom Manager with a variety of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
• Sell and talk intelligently about the products.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
• Build a rapport with regular customers.
• Work in an often-fast paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Work a varying schedule, including early mornings and late evenings as needed.
• Meets, greets and interacts with customers and guests in accordance with Taproom customer service standards.
• Maintains a hospitable, inviting and positive customer service environment in accordance with the overall mission of the Brewery and Taproom.
• Informs customers on beer styles; answers questions to the best of their ability.
• Pours and serves alcoholic drinks to customers in accordance with TABC regulations.
• Fulfills orders of Taproom customers when it comes to merchandise and assists with inventory requirements as directed.
• Understand the POS and is open to learning more through daily interactions and training.
• Process cash and credit card transactions.
• Respond to basic questions about the brewing process and organization history.
• Answers questions regarding future events and upcoming beer releases.
• Assists in maintaining drink/food standards and an overall Taproom environment that is hospitable, sanitary, safe and sustainable.
• Clean glasses and bar utensils.
• Clears and cleans tables when customers leave.
• Cleans bar area, taproom, patio, and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, storage areas, cold room, and bathrooms.
• Performs ongoing general maintenance of Taproom equipment as directed by the Taproom Manager.
• Assists with restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
• Completes opening and closing duties under the direction of the Taproom Manager.
• Understand the BarTrack system and is open to learning more through training.
• Assists with the execution of periodic events held at the Taproom as directed by the Taproom Manager and provides staffing at such events as a server as required.
• Frequently interacts with individuals both within and outside of the organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned in the best interest of maintaining and preserving the mission, vision, and culture of Tall City Brewing Co.

Qualifications
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• High level customer service
• Food Handler’s Certificate
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs at a time in a repetitive motion
• Be able to team lift kegs when needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $35.00 per hour
