About The Role

As the Internal AI Engineer, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team. Your primary responsibility will be to integrate AI into each department's workflows, allowing the company to move faster and more efficiently. You'll design and implement AI-driven solutions that optimize processes and enable employees to double or triple their output across departments like sales, marketing, customer success, and operations. Success in this role will be measured by the total hours saved across the company, reflecting the efficiency gains unlocked through the integration of AI tools and applications.

What you"ll do
• Integrate AI solutions into workflows across the company to drive speed and efficiency.
• Identify and implement AI tools that solve problems and increase productivity, or develop custom AI applications where necessary.
• Provide value rapidly—quickly going from 0 to 1, implementing high-impact solutions early on.
• Continuously optimize AI integrations, assessing and refining tools for maximum efficiency.
• Train and educate employees on the use of AI tools and workflows to ensure effective implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and pain points where AI can have the most impact.
• Challenge the status quo by bringing fast-paced, creative problem-solving and delivering results without needing extensive guidance or pre-defined playbooks.
• Communicate AI-driven solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Obsess over measurable outcomes, focusing on saving time and maximizing efficiency across departments.

Qualifications
• Fast learner, thinker, and doer—able to grasp complex challenges and provide immediate value.
• Background in startups or entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred.
• Strong programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar languages).
• Proven experience in building and deploying AI tools and solutions.
• Portfolio of AI projects demonstrating meaningful, practical applications.
• Familiarity with modern AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Replit, and others.
• Experience in dynamic environments, with a passion for solving hard problems and creating efficient processes.
• Strong self-starter—able to work without a predefined playbook and adapt as you go.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills, working across departments to identify opportunities and deliver results.

Preferred
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, understanding business needs, and driving solutions.
• Knowledge of automation and integration tools.
• Experience with HubSpot, Notion, and/or Acumatica is preferred.
• Speed of execution is your superpower.
