We are looking for *SQL / Hadoop QA Experts* forEnterprise Complaints Reporting & Analytics India Team.*Job Description : *The resource will be primarily working onrequests like- AdHocs, QAQC, Transcription and Validation and other data miningwork within Enterprise Complaints Reporting & Analytics Team.
QA Tester will work together with incumbent dataengineers, batch operations analysts, application SMEs, and DBAs. This personmay also need to work with technical resources at third-party partnerorganizations in order to gather specifications for data sent by or sent tosaid partner.
Finally, they will closely partner with QA and UAT teams in orderto tie together test cycles and to make sure that the test cases being run arein service towards the new features being built.Day to Day Responsibilities
• Strong working experience with *MS SQL Server*Databases and highly proficient with *complex SQL scripting* to validatesource / target data load and transformation.
• Experience in Any Automation tool
• Experience in Bigdata data pipeline testingwith *Hadoop / Spark framework* in private cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience and strong understandingof Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle(STLC) on Agile Scrum environments
• Exposure to Data Warehousing and DimensionalModelling Concepts
• Experience in understanding of *ETL* Source toTarget Mapping Document
• Knowledge of applying the Spark Data Frame APIconcepts using *PySpark *to complete data manipulation tasks
• Very good understanding of businessintelligence concepts, architecture &building blocks in areas ETLprocessing, Data warehouse, dashboards and analytics.
• Experience on different types of testing thatincludes Black Box testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, SystemIntegration testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression testing & UserAcceptance Testing (UAT) & Involved in Load Testing, Performance Testing &Stress Testing as needed.
• Hands-on experience and strong understandingof Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle(STLC) on Agile Scrum environments.
• Expertise in using JIRA / Excel for writingthe Test Cases and tracking the Defects.
• Participate in Defect Triaging during Majorreleases and track the defects for resolution / conclusion
• An effective communicator with stronganalytical abilities combined with skills to plan, implement & presentationof projects*Required Skills : *
• 3+ year of Python, Sparks
• 7+ years of MS SQL
• 7+ years of a scripting language (PowerShell,Python, etc.)
• Experience with an enterprise scheduler suchas AutoSys
• Experience with an ETL toolset such asInformatica or SSIS
• Experience creating automated regressiontestbeds, including creating meaningful input test data
• Experience with scrubbing or anonymizing ofprivate identifying information in a sensitive dataset
• Experience with reading and creating entityrelationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data architecture diagrams*Preferred Skills : *
• Experience working with third-party teams,such as on a partner integration project
• Experience with ticketing systems like HPMercury, JIRA
• Experience with Splunk
• Experience on a QA team or with Test FirstDevelopment may help quite a bit*Top 3 MUST Have : 1. Python / Sparks 2. MS SQL 3.
