Position Summary

McCarthy is looking for a hands-on, collaborative, and strategic senior graphic designer to assist our Southern Pacific Region with the conceptualization and execution of compelling marketing deliverables. This position will work closely with the regional marketing, business development, and operational teams to deliver innovative design solutions across various media platforms that elevate our brand and communicate key messages. Responsibilities include layout, quality control, team development, and ensuring adherence to brand standards while fostering creativity within the team.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead creative strategy in regional pursuits, events, communication, and multi-media efforts
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines with marketing leadership and stakeholders
• Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand intent, develop concepts, and execute deliverables in print and digital media
• Oversee the completion of projects, including design suggestions and quality control
• Develop strategic collateral from data and annual operating plans
• Develop and implement systems, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and high-quality deliverables, including RFQ/RFP graphics, templates and layouts
• Connect design concepts with story-telling in award submittals, newsletters, presentations, invitations, social media, jobsite signage and advertisements
• Ensure compliance with brand standards across regional deliverables and merchandise
• Assist with photography and video production
• Lead RFQ/RFP deliverables when needed
• Able to directly and indirectly coach and mentor team members

Qualifications And Technical Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design or AEC marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing layout and brand compliance
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
• Experience with CRM database management systems
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills

For Southern California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $75,000-$95,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
