Job Responsibilities
This role requires a skilled Electrical Engineer Supervisor to lead and coordinate technical projects, especially in healthcare and other specialized environments. Key responsibilities include:
• Project Leadership: Serve as Engineer of Record on designated projects, ensuring technical quality and overseeing performance.
• Staff Supervision: Mentor and guide engineering staff, conduct objective evaluations, and manage task assignments within the team.
• Technical Direction: Work with senior engineers on team training and support, establishing technical standards and specifications for assigned projects.
• Project Coordination: Organize and assign system design and engineering tasks across project teams.
• Construction Administration: Manage construction-related documentation, including field reports, RFI responses, and other project communication.
• Financial Management: Collaborate on invoicing, monitor project budgets, and communicate with clients as needed to maintain project financial health.
• Team Communication: Oversee correspondence with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contract Management: Prepare project proposals, administer contracts, and handle service agreements as required.
• Reports and Analysis: Supervise the preparation of analyses and reports on system options and building conditions.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience: At least 10 years in MEP consulting, with relevant experience in healthcare, federal, critical facilities, or commercial projects.
• Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 3 years leading teams and mentoring staff.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with CAD and Revit, along with a solid foundation in technical design.
• Project Management Skills: Capable of managing project schedules and resources effectively.
