Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving and stocking merchandise in our warehouse and retail store. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to lift heavy packages. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our business.
Duties:
- Receive and unload merchandise from deliveries, and load and unload products from storage areas
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and retail store to ensure a clean and safe environment for employees and customers
- Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move heavy packages and pallets as needed
- Conduct inventory management by receiving and verifying shipments, and reporting discrepancies
- Stock shelves and displays with products, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and easily accessible to customers
- Assist with retail sales and provide excellent customer service
- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure that merchandise is accurately stored and that inventory levels are accurate
- Collaborate with other warehouse and retail team members to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
- Experience with package handling and heavy lifting
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and retail sales
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with inventory management
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with retail sales and customer service preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
