ECS is seeking a Platform Data Engineer to work in our Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award].
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, testing, and implementation of databases, Kafka, and mission software data integration support. You will ensure that all databases, repositories, and file storage locations are scalable, performant, and have sufficient capacity to support the organization's data needs. If you have experience with designing and implementing data architectures for large-scale data environments, and are familiar with database administration, Kafka, and data integration technologies, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Administration of databases, repositories, and file storage locations to ensure they are scalable, performant, and have sufficient capacity
• Testing and implementation of databases, Kafka, and mission software data integration support
• Collaborating with software development teams to ensure data designs align with application architecture and data requirements
• Analyzing database metrics and logs to identify potential issues and optimizations
• Developing and maintaining documentation of data architectures and configurations
• Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy standards and protocols
Salary Range: $154,000-$169,000
