As a Software Developer you will.
• Demonstrate a knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design
• Evaluate and review C++ language code Programming using C++, Python 3, HTML
• Develop Parallel processes, threading, process communication
• Develop Web-based applications using development technology
• Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements
A week in the life of a Software Developer, you will:
• Support software development, software integration, customer training and demonstrations.
• Have knowledge of standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design.
• Work with software programmers to develop and refine simulation presentation of real-world ELINT parametric data.
• Work with SMEs using the EWIRDB database for complex waveforms analysis associated with a wide range of red and blue force systems.
• Work with SMEs for signal translation of waveform data into a descriptive and behavioral modeling & Simulation language for Development and Test.
• Have knowledge of threat system analysis and sensor modeling of radars, electronic warfare (EW) systems, countermeasures, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) systems, and various weapons.
• Participate in software test activities to include test procedure creation and test plan development.
• Collaborate with team members to design future enhancements
Job Requirements
• Must have a BS in Computer Science or Engineering. Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering may qualify with at least 3 years of C++ experience
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience working with EW systems.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with scripting, database programming and languages such as Modern C++, Python, and Lua.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Electronic Warfare integrated reprogramming database (EWIRDB). Basic radar modeling experience.
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience with scripting, database, and programming in Python 3, and HTML.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $89,000-135,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
