The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our client’s team of talented HR professionals.

As a leading supplier of solid wood products and innovative mass timber solutions, they are

dedicated to offering quality supply to a number of industries for a variety of applications including

dimensional lumber and engineered wood products.

In this role, you will oversee comprehensive HR functions, including recruiting and onboarding,

benefits administration, labor law, payroll, and EEOC compliance to support plant expansion

initiatives to take the headcount from 150 to 250 and foster a supportive, inclusive culture in a

dynamic environment.

Your Day-to-day

• Demonstrating expertise in employee relations, US labor law, payroll, and HRIS systems.
• Developing and implementing onboarding programs to facilitate the integration of new hires into the company culture.
• Supporting benefits administration and payroll processing.
• Collaborating with international HR experts to address global HR challenges and support remote teams in different time zones.
• Managing job postings and reviews to ensure accurate representation of available
• Overseeing the hiring process of potentially 100 new staff to support the expansion of plant operations, including a Sawmill and Planermill.
• Streamlining hiring processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in filling positions.
• Utilizing social media-based recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions.
• Upholding the company mission and values while fostering a supportive and inclusive work opportunities.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.
• Following safety and work procedures.
• Communicating guidelines, processes, procedures, plans, and policies to all levels of employees throughout the organization.
• Keeping current with competitive wage and salary structures for all mid-level exempt and non-exempt level positions.
• Staying current with and communicating any changes of benefits, presenting during open

enrollment, distributing materials, and being available to answer questions for employees.
• Working with department leaders to manage change, creating value through training or hiring, and making recommendations to increase employee engagement, commitment, and

capability.
• Taking an active, hands-on approach to working with the team and addressing other tasks as needed.

Compensation
• $70,000 - $95,000 USD, annual base salary.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in industrial HR work, particularly within production and plant operations.
• Deep understanding of HR systems, employee relations, labor law, bene?ts, safety, EEOC, and
• Familiarity with payroll processes, with the ability to provide backup support as needed.
• Ability to work effectively within a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing
• Strong command of hiring procedures and experience managing large-scale recruitment health regulations.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and empathy towards employees.
• Hands-on work attitude with a precise and detail-oriented work style.
• Highly organized with good communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict con?dence with all sensitive and con?dential information.
• Pro?ciency in project management and the ability to drive initiatives forward.
• Stable work history demonstrating a commitment to partnering with the business to ensure corporate success and employee satisfaction.

Starting out as the Senior HR Business Partner(OR HR Manager if the candidates' experience warrants it) This person will have lots of room to grow.
