Are you passionate about retirement benefits and ready to lead a dedicated team? We're looking for a Retirement Benefits Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Retirement Benefits to oversee a team of Retirement Benefit Specialists and manage various aspects of our 401(k) Multiple Employer Plans (MEP) and client-sponsored plans. Your role will involve ensuring compliance, supporting clients and participants, and improving plan processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor the Retirement Benefit Specialists, fostering their development and growth.
Oversee the administration of retirement plans, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in accordance with plan provisions and ERISA guidelines. This includes managing contributions, compliance testing, plan document reviews, and plan corrections.
Act as a key point of contact for resolving complex plan-related issues and questions.
Provide expert support and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding 401(k) administration.
Identify and implement process improvements to boost team efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with retirement vendors to ensure thorough due diligence and address any issues.
Work closely with departments such as Payroll, Client Relations, Sales, and Benefits to ensure smooth operations.
Support the integration of acquired company MEPs into our 401(k) plan.
Assist with annual 401(k) plan audits and Form 5500 filings in collaboration with Third-Party Administrators, Recordkeepers, and Auditors.
Maintain accuracy and efficiency while managing high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
Utilize Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS/benefits databases effectively.
Take on special projects and additional tasks as assigned by the VP of Retirement Benefits.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and education preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in 401(k) plan administration.
1+ years of leadership experience.
Experience with Third-Party Administration (TPA) is preferred.
Familiarity with Multiple Employer Plans (MEP) or Pooled Employer Plans (PEP) is a plus.
Retirement-related credentials (e.g., QKA, RPA) are advantageous.
Experience with Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) is a plus.
