Business Development Producer – Transactional Liability – North America
Angove Partners is partnering with an award-winning insurance broker, seeking a Business Development Producer in North America. It’s an exciting time for the business, which is expanding into new jurisdictions and solidifying its position as a market leader in R&W in North America.
The role
As a member of the business development team, the Business Development Producer will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating interactions between the insurance brokerage firms and private equity firms. The role is based in North America with remote-working flexibility.
Responsibilities
· Act as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for private equity firms, establishing and nurturing strong partnerships.
· Develop a deep understanding of the private equity industry, including its dynamics, trends, and challenges related to insurance and employee benefits.
· Collaborate with private equity firms to understand their specific needs and requirements for insurance and employee benefits due diligence during M&A activities.
· Conduct strategic sales activities, including presentations, negotiations, and relationship-building efforts, to promote insurance brokerage services and secure new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters, brokers, and analysts, to ensure a seamless transition from due diligence to post-closing insurance brokerage services.
