Akkodis is seeking a Data Scientist for a Contract job with a client in Chandler AZ/Kennesaw GA(Hybrid). Ideally looking for a skilled Data Scientist proficient in building and maintaining machine learning NLP models to develop and optimize document capture applications.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Scientist job responsibilities include:
• Designing, building, and maintaining document capture applications.
• Developing and implementing machine learning and NLP models.
• Analyzing and processing large datasets, both structured and unstructured.
• Ensuring model accuracy through continuous performance tuning and validation.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate models into business applications.
• Providing technical guidance on AI/ML best practices and advancements in Gen AI models.
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Science or a related role.
• Experience with Gen AI open-source models.
• Proficiency in Python programming for ML/NLP models.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $73.00 per hour
