What You’ll Be Doing:
• Tailored Instruction: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Engaging Lessons: Create and deliver engaging and adaptive lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate: Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Assess Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies and interventions.
• Advocate: Be a strong advocate for students, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to succeed.
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field; valid teaching license
• Experience: Previous experience in special education or working with students with diverse needs is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to making a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the needs of each student and the dynamic nature of the classroom environment.
