The Education Coordinator/Team Facilitator is an integral part of the F.L. Chamberlain Educational Administrative Management Team, responsible for the Educational Case Management of all students. The Educational Coordinator/Team Facilitator acts as a students treatment team leader and facilitator of meetings/discussions. They effectively works with all members of a students treatment team, including the student and parent, communicates regularly with the school district, parent, teaching staff, and other departments, and ensures delivery of appropriate educational services to each student.
The Educational Coordinator/Team Facilitator develops Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) for each student and ensures all regulatory and legal requirements are met in developing, coordinating, evaluating, and utilizing these plans. They develop and determine educational placements, plans, and services for each student. The Educational Coordinator/Team Facilitator is an integral part of development, supervision, observation, and evaluation of curriculum, services, and programming in the Education Department.
