This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
As a member of the FBM Digital Capabilities Organization, you'll be responsible for development of Digital Transformation IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation, and support that aligns with the FBM program digital thread. You will use agile processes and common technology stacks for all development. This will include modernization as well as transformation efforts across the program lifecycle at all sites (SWFPAC, SWFLANT, ER, Denver, Valley Forge, Courtland, Titusville, and Sunnyvale). Continuous communications with FBM IS, Digital Transformation, and other cross-functional teams is crucial to success in this role. The FBM Digital Transformation team is looking for motivated individuals that can communicate effectively to help bridge the program from sustainment of yesterday to development and sustainment for continual improvement throughout the lifecycle of the program.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in either Denver, CO (opens in new window), or Titusville, FL. (opens in new window), and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Proven success in infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, and systems integration
• Experience in software unit/integration testing and debugging experience of multi-thread software applications
• Proven success in working with cross-functional teams for the development of software solutions
• Working knowledge of Agile, automation, GitLab, Docker, and common technology stacks
• Experience developing technical solutions to complex issues leveraging ingenuity and outside-the-box thinking
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:
• Fullstack Software Engineering experience that supports the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Functional knowledge of Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering data flows
• FBM Program Knowledge and Experience working with US Navy
• Experience with Systems Engineering techniques
