Overview
Position Summary:
The Associate, Cloud Data Engineer will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our data architecture to support our next level growth and business intelligence. You will design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines across our MS Azure Cloud environment, leveraging Snowflake, ensuring integrity and accessibility of data across the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines within Azure/Snowflake while ensuring optimal data delivery architecture.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
• Implement data modeling and warehousing solutions that support business requirements and provide actionable insights.
• Optimize data flow and collection to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 year’s experience as a Data Engineer, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake’s cloud data platform and strong SQL skills.
• Snowflake experience in the MS Azure Cloud is required.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Location & Compensation:
• This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite) and can be based in Bayview’s NYC or Coral Gables, FL offices. We have existing team members in both locations.
• Base compensation is expected to be $110-135k with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
