SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) assists in the configuration and administration of the Department’s program applications. The ITS I provides technical expertise in all aspects of software configuration and development, testing, and production launches. The ITS I is responsible for software configuration and development using modern techniques, open-source programming languages and frameworks. The ITS I is expected to take initiative, exercise excellent judgment, and independently perform assigned tasks professionally and efficiently with a high level of accountability. The ITS I must be willing to adapt to changing environments and new technologies in order to keep current with industry standards. This position may require occasional travel.

Working Conditions

If the employee is working at an alternate work location during telework, they are required to maintain a safe working condition at the approved site, abide by the Departments Telework Policy and Ergonomic Policy, and agree to maintain a distraction-free remote work environment. Further, employees are required to be available through various forms of communication during work hours.

• Experience with SaaS Platforms: Proven track record in administering, configuring, and optimizing Software as a Service (SaaS) systems to meet organizational needs and enhance operational efficiency.
