We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in control systems, particularly Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.
About the Role:
Electrical Engineer Essential Job Functions:
• Design electrical control systems for industrial automation equipment (480V and below).
• Evaluate and propose alternative components and automation strategies to enhance efficiency, product quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform programming (new and modifications) of control devices, including Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servos, and Vision Cameras.
• Develop electrical specifications for new equipment and ensure compliance by working closely with vendors throughout the quotation, design, and build phases.
• Develop, manage, and support capital projects, including conducting Root Cause Analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science* in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in designing and programming control systems, with a strong focus on Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage own time effectively, and maintain control over all current projects/responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage high-volume workload, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
