A multi-billion dollar real estate firm with a large portfolio in NYC is seeking an HR Director experienced in team management, policy implementation, and generalist duties.
This would sit directly underneath the Head of Human Resources, working closely as their right hand and managing a large team under them, overseeing all human resources functions across the board.
This is a company with extremely low turnover and a strong employee-centric culture. Additionally, this role would be on-site 4 days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate and oversee HR tactics, encompassing leadership cultivation, staff interactions, performance oversight, and talent procurement
• Serve as a team manager and point of contact for other HR team members
• Offer advice and counsel to corporate executives on HR-centric concerns
• Establish and uphold HR protocols and processes, guaranteeing adherence to employment statutes and standards
• Supervise and administer employee welfare schemes
• Design and maintain systems for evaluating performance
• Administer talent cultivation and future staffing schemes
• Supervise staff relations endeavors, such as inquiries and dispute mediation
• Govern and administer labor connections activities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources management, with an additional 3+ as a manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
