The Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) is a leading trusted and authoritative source of California legal information and practical guidance. Position Summary
Are you a tenured Program Manager ready to manage several cross-team projects and programs by providing day-to-day plan management, communications and operational cadence? Join our team to leverage your problem solving skills, work with senior leaders and help develop our next generation of products and services.
This is a 12-month CONTRACT position eligible for full benefits.
Salary & Compensation
• UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Qualifications
• Project/Program Management 6+ years of direct previous experience in program management, project management, or related field. (Required)
• Process Principles Experience applying project management principles and best practicing using waterfall and agile approaches to manage projects from inception to execution. (Required)
• Progress Management Experience leading recurring project team meetings to successfully manage project plans against deliverables, schedule, and success criteria. (Required)
• Reporting Experience reporting project status to stakeholders and senior leadership, identifying key metrics, reporting issues/challenges as appropriate in a timely manner. (Required)
• Recognized expertise across project management, change management and time management practices. Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities with professionalism and high quality work. (Required)
• Proven ability to autonomously develop and execute complex project plans with minimal direction or requirements, including assigning team tasks/deliverables, managing schedules and project resources, monitoring budget spend, and monitoring success metrics. (Required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent interpersonal skills necessary for leadership, team building, and multi-level communication. (Required)
• Proven ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional stakeholders and vendors without direct authority for successful on-time, on-budget, and within scope execution. (Required)
• High attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and assess relevant/prioritized issues. Experience managing issues with successful risk mitigation and contingency planning approaches. (Required)
• Knowledge of or previous experience using AWS/Cloud/SAAS technologies. (Preferred)
• Located in the US Pacific or Mountain coast. (Preferred)
Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations
• Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Communication or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Required)
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP). (Preferred)
Special Conditions for Employment
• Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
• Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired.
• 10% This role is remote/virtual role with required business travel of approximately 1-2 times per month.
